Life is difficult, and we all have problems. Some problems are so relentless and overwhelming that we need professional help.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a private practice specializing in helping couples and healing psychological trauma. The two highly effective approaches I use are Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am certified in both clinical approaches. My therapy style is down-to-earth, warm, optimistic, practical, and focused.

I know that when adult family members learn to successfully get their attachment needs met from the other, all members of the family benefit, not just the individual who first sought help. I also know that, while I am confident that I can foster a secure and healing relationship with most individual clients who come to me, I am providing a superior service when I help clients develop and experience a trustworthy, nurturing adult relationship with their life partner.

In 2011, I authored and self-published a book, Peace in the Heart and Home: A Down-to-Earth Guide to Creating a Better Life for You and Your Loved Ones. The book won three National Book Awards and is available on paperback, e-book, and audiobook (unabridged, read by author) through Amazon.
