Jeffrey Segal, Psy.D

I am a licensed psychologist (#2801) in private practice in Morristown, NJ. For more than 25 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, couples, and family therapy. I find that using attachment theory with my couples, as part of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), has allowed me to help them break down their negative patterns of interaction and to deepen their connections. In addition, I have assisted in Hold Me Tight (HMT) weekend retreats, where I have seen the magic of Sue Johnson's groundbreaking work help couples begin the conversations of mutual understanding that result in the strengthening of their relationships.

In addition to my private practice, I am a lecturer at Rutgers University, Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology.
