Sarah Friedman, LCSW, MS, works in private practice with individuals and adults. Her areas of specialization are depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Sarah is experienced using several evidence-based practices and tailors treatment based on client needs. She uses a strengths-based and humanistic approach and implements techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. Sarah is dedicated to professional development and has completed Level 1 Training in EMDR, Level 1 training in EFIT, and the externship in EFT. Sarah is pursuing certification in EMDR and EFT. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Applied Statistics from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
