Yosef Gurevitch, LCSW
Yosef is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He graduated from Yeshivah University Wurzweiler School of Social Work with a Master in Social Work. He has completed the Externship and Core Skills Advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and Is trained in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) and is on track to become a certified EFT therapist. Yosef has completed extensive residential trainings in mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness. He has also completed training programs in Mindfulness-Based Therapies such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). He is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma. Yosef’s kind heartedness coupled with is genuine fondness for his clients helps them feel valued and cared for and creates a compassionate environment from which healing and growing is natural. He sees couples, adults and families.
